GET INVOLVED! GIVE GENEROUSLY! SPREAD THE WORD!

The mission of United Way of White County is to increase the organized capacity of people in White County to care for one another. Our envision being at the forefront of community needs and change, collaborating with others to maximize effectiveness, and building lasting partnerships that focus on solutions to the root causes of the most pressing issues in White County. Our priorities include homelessness, mental health, and financial stability for the underemployed.

By placing emphasis on these areas of need, United Way is helping more than 50% of families across the county who have limited assets and income but are working to meet the needs of their family. These families are known by the acronym ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed).

ALICE is often the person that takes your order at your favorite restaurant, change the oil in your car, ensures your hotel room is clean and comfortable. ALICE is a group of people that are vitally important to everyday life but often are only one unexpected expense away from experiencing homelessness, hunger, or loss of employment.

By giving today, you are joining us as we continue to strengthen children, families, and communities across White County.
